The Ramona Humane Society is a non profit, open-admission animal shelter, animal control agency and high quality, low-cost spay/neuter and wellness clinic located in the city of San Jacinto in southern California. We are dedicated to fostering the humane treatment of all animals. Our goal is to eliminate animal over-population by offering low-cost spay and neutering services, public outreach programs and promoting the adoption of pets to loving homes. Intakes stray animals, homeless, and unwanted pets. Services include community outreach, schools, and convalescent home education. Shelter has volunteer opportunities available that are varied and catered to suit the needs and backgrounds of the volunteer. The Albert and Anna Herdina Memorial Fund for Animals will assist seniors who qualify with veterinary expenses for their pets. To be eligible for assistance, the following requirements must be met: over 65 years of age (proof of age is required), permanent resident of Riverside or San Bernardino County (proof of local residency is required), maximum income of $1000/month for one person or $2000/month for two people.
