How do I start custom vehicle order process?

Simply tap the Start My Custom Order button, provide some information, make some selections and hit submit. A Sales Consultant will contact you and help you complete your vehicle order by selecting from the available colors, options and accessories. This can be done in person, over the phone or via text and email.

Is there any extra charge for a custom-ordered vehicle?

No, there is no extra charge for custom ordering a vehicle. Vehicle prices are negotiated and agreed upon by the customer and the dealer at the time of ordering. Your dealer may require a deposit to place your order.

What if programs or incentives get better while my vehicle is being built?

Ordering customers will be eligible for qualifying incentives at the time of order placement or qualifying incentives at the time of final delivery, whichever is preferred.

Will I be updated while my vehicle is being built?

Our team will provide you updates as we receive them from the manufacturer on where your vehicle is in the process and the estimated arrival date. Once your vehicle has arrived at the dealership, your dealership representative will contact you to confirm its arrival, collect any additional information needed to complete the sale and schedule a convenient time and location for final delivery to you.

How long will it take to have my vehicle built?

Each model has a different amount of time associated with the custom build. Our team will be able to provide you with more specific details on estimated build time once you select a model. Generally, orders fulfill in 4-12 weeks.

You can track it through production. They should be able to give you a vin - that's assigned once they submit the order, which I'd say is generally within 5 working days. I don't remember the specifics, but ask your dealer how to track it. You can call Chrysler directly - your name is on the vehicle..and they'll basically get your info into the system. The people that answer those questions are super nice - they were excited FOR me.

Depending on what you ordered, and the color, it can take a bit to get it on the assembly line. They paint colors in groups, so that can pause your production.

They also randomly pull vehicles for full quality checks. That's what happened to mine.

I don't know what date they started production on the 2021s... 2020s began July 1st, so I was ordering right at the beginning. My "born on" tag was actually July 28 which was more than 2 weeks after I sealed the order with the dealer. That was the date it was set on the assembly line. That takes some logistics because of your exact order. I kinda remember that the dealer had either a minimum order or only one set day/time that they could submit....Jeep Chrysler has to organize it somehow...

There's also transport, too. I've ordered, over the years, 4 jeeps. It's realistically more like 11 - 13 weeks at best from order to when you'll be picking it up, in my experience.

Well worth it to order, imo. Why buy shit you don't want? Or settle for something that doesn't have what you want?

I drive manuals, which is pretty much why I order. Is that why you ordered? You're gonna love it!
