They are easy to use, reports are easy to read and customer service is always willing to answer any questions. Pros: AssureHire is fast with their background checks allowing for limited time delay from the job offer acceptance to onboarding the new employee. Cons: I honestly do not think there is a thing I like the least. The software is simple, self explanatory and easy to use. This is a pretty simple question, but I’m not sure of the answer. I got a job offer and I’m filling out background check information. My last two jobs have been over this last school year, both at my college. I have to enter my last 3 employers. This semester and last semester I worked as a research assistant, where I had a legitimate supervisor and was paid by the hour. In the fall semester, I worked as a TA, I wasn’t paid by the hour, rather just paid a set amount and didn’t have a supervisor. Do I put the TAing position in the background check? Since my employers were both with the university, and it wasn’t terribly structured, it just seems iffy to me. I’m not worried about them contacting either of them, just feels weird to put the same two employers (my school) given the circumstances. Thanks! How long do most background checks take?Typically, a background check should take between two and five business days. That said, each individual's history is different and factors can prolong this timeframe. Fortunately, there are two main ways to prevent delays in the process.

What is the longest wait for a background check?Under perfect conditions, a background check takes one to three business days. However, one can take up to 14 days or longer, depending on the scope of the searches. There are steps built into the process that take time, such as: Reviewing the list of job applicants.
