Existing e-Services users may continue to sign in with an active IRS username and don’t need to take any action at this time. E-Services applications will prompt all users to accept the terms of agreement the first time signing in after July 24, 2022. All e-Services users must accept the User Agreement in order to access accounts. Access Assurance Testing System (ATS) QuestionnaireSoftware developers must access their e-Services account to submit questionnaires for each form they are testing. You must be an authorized user on a completed IRS e-File application and have Principal or user granted Principal Consent authority or be a Responsible Official or Delegate Users with Add & Change Software Package Information authority granted. Tax Transcript InformationThe IRS has changed the format and distribution policy for tax transcripts. Authorized tax practitioners can access the Transcript Delivery System or request certain client transcripts be sent to their e-Services secure mailbox, where they will be available for retrieval. Reminder: If you view your transcript in your mailbox, it is only available for 3 days. Transcripts that haven’t been viewed are available for 30 days. Learn more about the new transcript policy. E-Services ApplicationsMaintenance is scheduled every Sunday from 12 a.m. - 4 p.m. Eastern time. The system may be unavailable during this time.
