So nice not having to put detergent in every time you start the washer. Also cool how you can temporarily disable it if you want to use a different detergent for 1 load. The machine also allows you to remove the agitator if you need to for larger items to fit in better. The wifi features are nice as well. Instead of having the annoying bell or buzzer shouting across your house you can just get a notification right on your phone. Overall I would absolutely recommend this washer to anyone looking for a new machine.

The glass top is something I’ve never had on a washer before; it will make it easy to check on a load without opening the lid. This unit comes with the ability to download an app and operate the unit from your mobile device. There is a handy little fabric brush included under the lid for working on soiled spots on laundry. The control panel has large buttons and a small display. Unfortunately, the drain hose that came with the unit is not long enough to reach the drain pipe because of the way the plumbing had to be roughed in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LDBRVA from Excellent machine I love the flexibility of being able to do large loads like comforters and pillows by removing the agitator. With the agitator the clothes get really clean. I had worried the the agitator would be too rough on some of my clothing. It doesn’t seem to be the case. The only problem I have with it is that it tends to twist the sheets more than I’d like. But it’s not really a big deal if I make sure to shake them out before putting them in the dryer. The problem I had with other machines was that if the load was too large it would become unbalanced. That doesn’t happen with this machine. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lainey from Really nice washer [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not able to have this installed by the installation team that delivered the washer. They only wanted to leave washer in the driveway. I can fully say this was very easy to install if you want to install it yourself. I just had help moving the washer down the stairs to our laundry room. Was also easy to setup the app and register the washer. Was also easy to load and unload the washer and didn't have to worry about the clothes bunching together. The washer cleaned the clothes really well. This washer runs very quiet and you can barely hear it running. I would highly recommend this washer to anyone needing a new washer.

I had two delivered within days of each other, both with defects somehow in the computer system that makes the unit function. I won't even go into it. And the washer was noisy when I could even get it to fill with water, drain, etc. No real help on line through the app or Whirlpool. After two tries I went into the store and purchased front load washer and dryer returning this set. Very inconvenient and frustrating. The only redeeming grace on this washer was the store staff who were very very helpful. I opted for Whirlpool due to the fact that I have for 18 years been happy with the washers and dryers I have had. Not so much anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Matwat from Great features & Large capacity [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this new washer and the features it offers , a press of a button and water will pour out like a faucet so you can spot wash a stain before you wash the piece of clothing also there is a brush for scrubbing built in on the right side , these are also a bit easier to load clothes in for me, The agitator is also removable just click the button and rotate and it’s out! The buttons for the cycles are large and easy to read just push the one you want and go , no more clock style cycle button for me!

Rated 1 out of 5 by ReyRey from Disappointed Got the washer and dryer delivered about 3 weeks ago. The washer now has what looks like a discolored/rusting ring around the inside of the tub. I called whirlpool and have a service appt scheduled. The rep I spoke to made it seemed like this is not covered by their warranty as he kept mentioning I will be charged for the service call if not covered. Also the washer is tempermental sometimes it doesn’t turn on, I will have to leave then come back to try again and eventually it will turn on. This has not happened all time but a few times. Overall I expected better quality for the price of the machine.

Pay attention to the reviews that it is noisy: it makes high pitched electrical type noise, It is located off my kitchen and very irritating! Also another review mentioned the reside left on clothes, VERY noticeable on dark clothes. I even use Woolite dark detergent. It is impossible to get off this scum! I rub and scrub while wet, My clothes come out very wrinkled even on the delicate and wrinkle guard setting. I don’t dry everything in the dryer because of shrinkage - they are a wrinkled mess when they come out of this washer. I never had these problems with my LG - wish I had stuck with that brand and front loader!
