Knapp / UTRGV Internal Medicine Residency Clinic

Located in the Knapp Medical Plaza building at 1330 E. 6th Street, Suite 105 in Weslaco, the brand-new Internal Medicine Residency Clinic is staffed by resident physicians, attending physicians, and nursing staff to meet your outpatient primary care needs. This includes diabetes management, hypertension management, preventative care, physicals, routine health screenings, wellness check-ups, management of common infections, immunizations and any other healthcare needs you may have.

The clinic, which specializes in treating adult and geriatric patients, is open for appointments Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and is able to offer a range of in-house comprehensive laboratory work and studies. The clinic is conveniently located in walking proximity to Knapp Medical Center, allowing for ease of transition for those patients who may have visited the hospital recently.

The compassionate resident physicians serving in the clinic are thrilled to have the opportunity to continue to care for the patients of the Valley outside of the hospital setting, and to provide regular evidence-based individualized clinical care in the outpatient setting. We hope that this clinic will grow to serve a large portion of the community here in Weslaco and the Valley as a whole.
