For those of you that grew up during the 1980's, how many remember those waving hands that you would see in the semi truck windshields? Does anyone know where I can find one? I have checked at truck stops, ebay etc. They apparently aren't available anymore.

Don't have a clue why you would want one but you asked . . . .

Hi vwovale56, If you haven't already, you may want to explore your local gift/gag-gift/novelty-type stores. I was able to find one a few years ago at my local novelty store (they do not have a website): But, it does not have any manufacturer/company markings on it and I have been unable to find a similar one online (although, interestingly, I came across a post about a recent patent application for a "window-mounted waving [peace sign] hand" here: //www.your-story.org/window-mounted-waving-hand-7138/). I am planning on going to my local novelty store this weekend and I'll look to see if they have any waving hands for sale. If not, you could probably make one rather easily out of cardboard or wood (its been a while since I looked, but you may be able to find a pre-cutout hand shape at a craft store). Hope that gives you some ideas! Take care, |

Even the new ones are hard to find-- my local novelty store is no longer selling them... Good luck with your search! |
