DRINK. PLANT. PARTY.

Plant and party with your friends at a restaurant in your neighborhood.

In 2012, Dan Hermann and Sean McGrail created Paint Nite after attending a friend’s birthday party where beer and wine was served in a painting studio. They loved the idea of people not only being able to connect over drinks but also embrace their inner artists and unleash their creativity. Dan and Sean also wanted to support local talented artists and small businesses by providing them a unique opportunity to teach and host Paint Nite events.

Dan and Sean started reaching out to local bars, restaurants, and artists in Boston, MA and their idea quickly took off. Local business owners and artists garnered new business and people loved having fun over drinks while painting. Paint Nite events are now hosted around the globe and the Boston office is quickly expanding. From Boston to Johannesburg, London to Buenos Aires, people love to paint, drink, and socialize.

After expanding to over 1,400 cities and towns, with over 1,000 artists on the Paint Nite platform and with 3 million paintings being made, customers are asking, "What's the new kind of 'Nite out'?"

Plant Nite is the answer.

Using our current relationship with restaurants, we allow creative entrepreneurs to host Plant Nite events in mulitple cities.  We are able to leverage our connection to the 2 million customers who love Paint Nite and introduce them to the joy of plants.

Raise your glass to a NEW kind of night out! Plant Nite invites you to create terrariums and flower arrangements at a local hotspot, guided by an entertaining plant professional and party host. Grab your friends and your creative spirit and spend 1.5 – 2 hours drinking, laughing, and flexing your green thumb. There’s no experience necessary and we’ll provide all the supplies, so you don’t have to worry about a thing (except having a great time!).

Plant Nite is an innovator in event-based businesses. We empower creative entrepreneurs and small business owners around the world to grow their
own businesses.

WHY YOU'LL DIG PLANT NITE

Can you make a succulent terrarium?

Succulents are perfect for terrariums because they grow relatively slowly but the condensation that may build up can kill the little plants if the right medium isn't used. Line the bottom of the container with fine gravel or rocks. On top of this layer an inch (2.5 cm.) or so of charcoal.

How do you make a successful succulent terrarium?

In general, to make a succulent terrarium, you will need to follow these steps:.
Choose a terrarium container..
Clean the container..
Choose and lay the drainage layer on the bottom..
Add a filter for separation..
Pour a charcoal layer..
Add succulent soil mix, and then add plants..
Decorations..

What do succulents need in a terrarium?

If mixing your own soil for succulents, follow this formula: four parts all-purpose soil mix, five parts perlite, and one part coarse sand. Once the plants are situated, keep them indoors and out of direct sunlight. These desert plants require only a drop of water every two weeks or so.
