Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville NewsJul 28, 2021 PlayStation Plus and Games with Gold for August 2021 Announced - IGN Daily Fix Jul 28, 2021 - In today's episode, both PlayStation and Microsoft have revealed the free games you're getting if you subscriber to either company's online platforms. On Xbox Games with Gold, you're getting Darksiders III, Yooka-Laylee, Lost Planet 3, and Garou: Mark of the Wolves (which gamers in-the-know will know that it's part of the Fatal Fury series). For PlayStation Plus subscribers, you can download Hunter's Arena: Legends, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville, and Tennis World Tour 2. And speaking of PlayStation and Xbox, both companies have been posting record sales for their hardware in recent months. That's great news, and also partly explains why they're so hard to find: every unit made is sold. Well, hopefully most of those units aren't going to scalpers. And finally, veterans of The Last of Us, Destiny, God of War, and other big AAA franchises have banded together to form a new game development company, That's No Moon Studios. And they've got the support of Korean game publisher Smilegate, which infused the company with a $100-million-dollar investment. Wow. Now let's see some games. It's your Daily Fix! Was this review helpful? Don't let this game go completely under your radar 1T0M Verified Purchaser 9 months ago This game isn't without it's flaws, but at the end of the day, this is a fantastic switch port of this title. The colors are rich and practically pop off the screen (there are multiple color blindness options in the settings as well). If you're already a fan of shooters on the switch, this will make a neat little addition to your collection. If you ever see this game on sale, consider getting it! A lot of creative concepts are on full display here and while the character designs & some of the models can dip into uncanny valley, you warm up to to the experience as a whole pretty quick. The addition of Night Cap is a notable highlight for me. You'll want to play as that character round after round (after round after round). The cartridge and box arrived in pristine condition and the game booted up with no issues. Was this review helpful?
