Negative HPT, but still pregnant?

Has anyone had the experience of having negative HPT(s) but later confirmed that they were indeed pregnant? How a far along were you? Did you confirm by blood test or ultrasound?

HPO neg, 3 weeks later bloods at dr I was 5 weeks.

Some women don’t get positive at home and only get it with the blood test.

Could be too early to tell through pee

This happened to my cousin. She took a hpt, it said negative. She gained 9lbs, had bleeding each month, no morning sickness. 9 months later she's having tummy pains, goes to the ER, they do a pee test and it comes back negative. They begin a physical exam and she's in labor.

Thanks for confirming this from experience @nikki39nmv! Crazy but the more i'm reading the more stories of it happening i'm coming across. Hard to believe it can happen, but obviously it can!

I never got a positive HPT; Even at 8 weeks along. Only ever showed on a blood test. Delivered my healthy boy a week ago

I had a positive on the first response but a negative at the docs office I showed them my pee stick lol so they gave me a blood test .. my hcg level was really low at the time 164 ... I’m not 27 weeks

Got negative on 2 hpt and I got a negative blood test 7 days late, got my positive 14 days late
