Monument mythos house in the ocean

C/H/A/S/E, nicknamed Chase, is a minor antagonist in THE MONUMENT MYTHOS: THE NIXONVERSE.

She was a loved movie star, but when given free will by her movie directors, she escaped the set and began wandering somewhere no one could predict. No matter how hard her directors tried, they could not bring her back. This poor choice leads to the destruction of Earth itself.

Appearance

Chase is a humanoid creature with a large radio dish for a head, claw like hands, and tentacles for feet, which she uses to walk at increases speeds. These tentacles also represent a sort of dress-like look to give a more feminine design, likely intended by her creators.

Biography

Chase was originally created as a kaiju special effect for a monster movie summer blockbuster. It was decided by the producers of the said blockbuster to give her intelligence for an improvised scene, and to allow her to exhibit free will on screen. When the directors enabled her artificial intelligence, she immediately started proceeding south to an unknown location. Many would celebrate her arrival and visits to the towns she would cross as she trekked south. Eli Tillon, part of the Interagency Working Group for Examining and Extinguishing Biomechanoid Weapons, was tasked by the U.S. Department of Defense to create a video in order to convince Chase to come back to the studio. The video would contain an offer to give chase a human body and be able to exist in human society after the movie's filming was done, as well as the thousands of adoring fans wanting her to come back, and would be played on loop in Chase's head. Eli mentions that it will not work, as Chase is "already adding stars to our sky", implying he knows their purpose. Another message is sent to Chase telling her to continue her trek to Antarctica. Her "stars" she puts in the sky spell out the word "VOID", in which a Lunarian ship sees said status, updates Earth's status to VOID, and blows it up with a planet-destroying canon.

wonder what this means canon-wise cuz the Monument Mythos is also mentioned in the description (which we know canonically exists because Alex is the last survivor of the Deanverse and compiled/uploaded its history), implying they're similar in that they're compiled things of something

We already knew from ALCATRAZAPOCALYPSE that the Monument Mythos videos exist within the MM universe. Alex (aka "Cthonaut A.") traveled from the Deanverse to the Nixonverse, before then creating the MM videos to convey the events of the Deanverse "in a theatrical manner".
