It is really surprising that Mazda is continuing to charge ~$350+ for the navigation SD card. This is a product that has almost no cost to produce and is vastly inferior to other navigation options (e.g. CarPlay).

It has limited value, mainly showing speed limit on the HUD. Maybe also in rare situations where the driver does not have cell service and forgot to download offline maps. They have to know that almost nobody actually uses it for navigation, so why do they continue to charge crazy prices for it? They should either just give it away or include it standard with all cars. At a minimum it should come included with active driving display.

It appears the are actively cracking down on cheap third party sellers - finding a cheap 2021 card on Amazon or eBay is impossible right now.
