When I first saw this baby gate, I thought "You are crazy to spend this much on a gate." We have a wide opening between our living room and dining room/ kitchen area. We keep the animal food/water dishes in the dining room and well, of course all kind of cupboard space and boos in the kitchen! So, with a 9m old crawling and getting into LITERALLY everything, I convinced myself, then my Fiance to spend the money on this baby gate. I REGRET NOTHING. This gate can be resized, the door can be moved between the panels for the best placement for your family / house set up. It can be used as a gate or as a play yard. There are 2 special rods that allow you to connect the gate to the wall - even if you have molding that gets in the way! Simply lift up the extra bar, and WAH-LA you can mount it to the wall in no time. This gate is also very stable. It's great for keeping the dog in the other room if he gets too hyper. We also had put 2 pieces of wood into the beam to attach our baby's jumper too - and with this gate, every section can be loosened or tightened - to bend the gate or keep it straight.
