Dialling a special code is another trick you could try. Once done, your phone calls will be masked under a private number.

This usually works, but some users have mentioned that it isn't the most effective on business phones.

Nevertheless, here's what you do:

• Open the Phone app
• Dial the following code - *67-408-221-XXXX

Now try and reach them. You should be good to go.

Method 3: Use Another Phone

If the above tricks didn't work, you can try calling from another phone. Most probably, you have more than one smartphone at home, so this shouldn't be an issue.

• Select Settings

How Can I Tell if Someone has Blocked My Number?

Figuring out whether your number has been blocked is easy. All you do is call the person in question, and then check whether you can hear ringing. If it goes directly to voicemail, and you only hearing half rings is not a good sign.

Here's the deal, if the above happens, it doesn't always mean that you've been blocked. The individual that you're trying to contact may be in a location with bad signal. You can safely say that you were blocked only if you constantly keep going to voicemail.
