While quite a few hotels in the area around Disney World charge for shuttle service or don’t offer any at all, there are some good options that do provide this convenience at no cost. That way you can leave the worry of driving, traffic, and parking behind and enjoy your day without those frustrations. From more budget-friendly hotels to luxurious amenity-filled resorts, when you book one of these properties near Disney World with a complimentary shuttle service you’ll be able to make the most of your time at the park.

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress offers an upscale oasis for couples and families who want to enjoy easy access to the park. Along with a free shuttle to Disney, it offers plenty of its own should you wish to spend a day relaxing outside of the park.  Spread across 1,500 acres, the vast grounds include a private lake with a white sandy beach offering water sports, a huge swimming pool with waterfalls, man-made caves and a waterslide along with four golf courses. When parents need a break they can take advantage of the Camp Hyatt program which offers kid-friendly activities like crafts and hiking. There are multiple dining options while the more than 800 rooms come with balconies that have views of the firework show at Epcot and Magic Kingdom.

Wyndham Lake Buena Vista

Wyndham Lake Buena is ideal for families, providing a free shuttle to Disney parks as well as offering visits by Disney characters three days each week. This top-rated resort near Disney World has a huge pool area with multiple water features like a waterfall and splash pad that offers the perfect way to cool off on a hot Florida day. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and include all the necessities, but if you book a Disney View Room you’ll get to enjoy nightly views of the Disney firework show too.

Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge

While Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge is a 10-minute drive to most Disney attractions, its shuttle buses will get you there for free. Enjoy a slice of Africa right in Orlando, surrounded by four savannas that are home to 30 different species of African wildlife. One of the most popular Disney World hotels, the Animal Kingdom Lodge includes Savanna View Rooms with balconies that provide a front-row seat to the animals. If you can afford the upgrade you’ll be able to watch the wildlife any time of day or night, including giraffes and ostriches. All feature authentic African decor, intricate wooden headboards with symbolic tribal carvings and mosquito nets, similar to what you’d find in a tented camp in Africa. Guests can embark on a real safari, dine on African fare and enjoy the Festival of the Lion King too. The property also includes a large zero-entry pool with a waterslide.

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort

One of the most luxurious options for Disney goers, the award-winning Grand Floridian Resort is just a five-minute boat ride from the park. It also has the largest rooms of any Disney property, all of which include balconies, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and Keurig coffeemakers. Park View Rooms provide views of the Magic Kingdom’s fireworks at night. There are two pools, a kids’ splash zone, multiple shops with Disney souvenirs and sundries, a Disney arcade-style game room, outdoor grilling and picnic areas too.

Staybridge Suites - Orlando Royale Parc Suites, an IHG Hotel

Royale Parc Suites is conveniently just a mile from Walt Disney World and offers complimentary shuttle service too. Enjoy breaks from the park, splashing around in the outdoor atrium pool or letting the kids play in the game room and playground area. An outdoor bar serving tropical drinks and light bites near the pool offers a daily happy hour special, while both the onsite Perky’s Pizza and Cajun Quarter Restaurant serve lunch and dinner.  Many of the rooms and suites can sleep a maximum of six guests and come with kitchenettes providing a more comfortable stay for families.

Best Western Orlando Gateway

Best Western Orlando Gateway offers a more budget-friendly option with free scheduled shuttle transportation to the theme parks, including Disney World. Rooms are clean and comfy, featuring microwaves, mini-fridges, coffeemakers and flat-screen TVs. The property hosts an outdoor pool with two hot tubs and a poolside cabana bar open seasonally serving snacks, beers, and cocktails. There’s also a sundeck, game room, fitness center and sports court along with a couple of year-round dining options, including Sharky & Jack’s Bar & Grille and a New York-style deli.

Hilton Garden Inn Lake Buena Vista

Just a mile from Disney World, Hilton Garden Inn Lake Buena Vista offers a complimentary shuttle to the park and includes rooms with microwaves, mini-fridges, Keurig coffeemakers, flat-screen TVs, MP3 clock radios and free Wi-Fi.  Families might want to book a suite which comes with separate living rooms with sofa beds and additional flat-screen TVs. Some offer views of the Epcot fireworks too. The property also hosts an outdoor pool, fitness center, restaurant and bar.

Fantasy World Resort

While it runs on a limited basis, Fantasy World Resort does offer free shuttle service to Disney World as well as to the Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores. It hosts Mediterranean-inspired accommodations with two-bedroom, two-story townhome villas that come with full kitchens, washer/dryers, separate living and dining areas and a flat-screen TV. There’s also a large outdoor pool area with a lazy river, two waterslides, two hot tubs and a children’s splash area.

Floridays Resort Orlando

One of the best hotels in Orlando, Floridays Resort Orlando offers a good value for families who want to enjoy the park with condo units that come with fully-stocked kitchens and washer/dryers. Other perks include free shuttle service, a beautiful pool and special activities like movie nights, arts and crafts, and live music.

Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes

Technically, Marriott Orlando’s shuttle to the park isn’t free, but it’s included in the daily resort fee, so why not take advantage of it? The service brings guests to Epcot and the Ticket and Transportation Center. From there, you’ll hop on the monorail. Just be sure to make your reservations by 10 p.m. the night before. While you’re at the resort, you’ll have a wealth of amenities to enjoy, including a golf course, a beautiful outdoor pool, and one of the best lazy rivers in Florida. Guests can also kayak, canoe, and take part in other water sports on the lake. There’s a spa for relaxing treatments and many other facilities as well. Rooms come with standard amenities like 65″ Smart TVs, iPod docks, and single-cup coffeemakers. Some have pool or lake views.

Four Seasons Resort Walt Disney World Orlando

Four Seasons Resort Walt Disney World Orlando is a lakeside luxury resort that is right inside the gates of the park. It has more of a residential feel along with many impressive amenities like a five-acre water park, a free kids’ camp, and nightly babysitting services so parents can enjoy a break, perhaps playing a round on the golf course, relaxing in the adults-only pool area, or enjoying treatments at the 13,000 square foot spa. There are Disney experiences too, including breakfast with the characters, while the free shuttle service runs every hour with pick-ups and drop-offs at all four of the theme parks.

Waldorf Astoria Orlando

Waldorf Astoria Orlando is known for its many luxuries, including fine dining at the Bull & Bar. There are a dozen restaurants in total here along with a lavish spa, 18-hole golf course, beautiful pools, a lazy river, and a kids’ club. Rooms are spacious and come with flat-screen TVs and Blu-ray players. Book a suite for additional living space and a kitchenette – some have balconies with views of the nature preserve or golf course. A complimentary shuttle service is provided hourly to the four theme parks as well.

Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace

Hilton Orlando Buena Vista Palace has a sky bridge that will take you right to Disney Springs and a free shuttle to the theme parks. It sits across 27 acres and hosts over 800 rooms as one of the largest properties in the area and one of the closest to Disney World. When you aren’t at the park you can take advantage of the multiple outdoor pools, including a zero-entry beach-style lagoon, a health club, walking trails, an outdoor spa, and several restaurants. Every Sunday character breakfasts are offered too. Plus, many of the rooms have balconies with views of the theme park. From some, you can even watch the nightly firework displays.

Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Orlando

Not only does the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Orlando offer a complimentary shuttle service approximately every 30 minutes to the Magic Kingdom between 7:30 a.m. and 10:30 p.m., but guests will find plenty of fun right on the property itself, including a three-acre lazy river, luxurious cabanas, a golf course, fitness center, spa, and a kids’ club. You’ll find a wide range of dining options with everything from casual eats to fine dining, and if you book one of the Deluxe Guest Rooms you’ll get to enjoy a panoramic view of the Disney fireworks from the comfort of your room.

Holiday Inn at Disney Springs Lake Buena Vista

An excellent option for budget travelers, complete with a free hourly shuttle to all the theme parks (make your reservations at least 48 hours in advance), the Holiday Inn at Disney Springs Lake Buena Vista offers comfortable rooms for families with balconies where you can watch the fireworks. Some even include bunk beds for the kids. Despite the affordable rates, it includes several amenities like a large pool, arcade, and fitness center along with a grab-and-go market for quick bites.
