Regular Slinky .010-.046 have been my favorite strings for a while. This gauge produces a rich sound and is not difficult to bend. They sound great on my SG. Hoping to try them out on other guitars in the future. I have bought these a few times and I intend to again in the future!
These were great, I put em on my 5420tg gretsch and they sound amazing!
got order in 2 days most awesome thank you
These strings are fantastic. Ez bending and great sound. Came very nicely packaged. There are few musical stores in my area but with Sweetwater I don't need one here,I have one!
The EB regular slinkys are in my experience the most versatile standard 10-46 gauge string set available. I run 'em on all my electrics with everything from hard tails top wrapped to string through or hipshot. They just feel smoother and have a very balanced tone that seems to last a bit longer before becoming what I call "plinky" sounding. It's all anyone I know has ever used.

Are nickel strings good for electric guitar?

Nickel-Plated - Nickel-plated strings are probably the most common type of electric guitar string in use today. The winding on the thicker strings is made of nickel-plated steel.

What strings did Stevie Ray Vaughan use?

Stevie used real heavy strings - . 013 (high E) to . 058 or even . 060 (low E).

Are nickel or steel strings better?

Steel strings are more suitable for slapping and funky and modern rock sounds, while nickel strings are better-suited to classic rock or for more versatile use.

Are nickel strings better?

Pure nickel strings have a warmer and more vintage tone with a lower output. They also hold this tone for longer. So if you are looking for a mellow and rounded tone, and you are less interested in brightness and the clarity of each individual note, then pure nickel strings could be the better choice for you.
