Encouragement inspirational letter to a friend in jail

Updated on November 12, 2021

It has been so long that we have not met, but your presence is always around me. I'm sure you are dreaming about me when you are free in prison. I know how much you miss me and us being together again. I'm taking this opportunity to write down our experiences over the last few years in this letter.

It has been almost a year since you are in jail, and our memories are the only thing we have with us to remember each other. Whenever I read the special memories we have written in our diary, I miss you badly. These memories remind me of all the times we have spent together.

There are a few things I would like you to understand.

The most important thing is that I would never betray you while you are away from me. I have seen you from the inside out. Sadly, people will never have the opportunity to see how amazing your heart is, and I consider myself lucky to know that.

I will never judge you for the choices you have made. Remember, I'm always with you to listen and learn, so you can become the person you were meant to be. Indeed, both of us are not the same individual, and our perspectives on life will never match, but I still love you.

I will never turn you into someone you are not or manipulate you or force you to do something you are not ready for. I will never give up on you, even if you are in jail.

You have always been my best friend. Even when my life fell apart, you have always given me faith and courage. You taught me the importance of losing everything. I will never take you for granted.

Whatever decisions you make, I will always be there to help you. I will also let you make some mistakes and guide you in the right direction. I will always be your shoulder to cry on and your pillar to support you. I'm not going to let you think you are in this situation alone, as we will both fight together.

I know many people have let you down because you are so open with your emotions. You always make sure that the people you love are safe. But in return, many of them have neglected your feelings and love.

You are by far the most selfless individual I have ever seen. You may be arrogant at times, but you would risk your life to protect anyone. I know you would protect me in the same way that I would.

In times like this, there will be people who will lie to me or want to separate us. I don't pay attention to the hateful things people want to convince me you have said.

Those that put you in prison today are satisfied, but God will punish them eventually. Be patient as I'm sure that you will soon be out of jail and it will be perfect again.

Our current situation is testing our love and trust for each other. We both have suffered from trust issues. We have built some great memories together, and I would never trade them for anything. I'm not going to lose hope that we will be together again.

Please do not cry or give up; we will meet again someday and never part. I wish I could sing for you or make you smile in this tough time. I promise you that I am doing everything to get you out of jail as soon as possible.

You know how much I love you, and it has been so hard for me to be away from you for too long. I would like to end this letter by saying that I love you with all my heart and I mean everything I have written in this letter.

I'm waiting for our happy days to come sooner.
