The device won't turn on when the power button is depressed. ****IMPORTANT* ALWAYS TURN UNIT OFF PRIOR TO CHARGING. First insert the charging adapter plug into the charging port on the back of the device. Plug the adapter into the wall outlet. The power LED lights will illuminate when charging. Charge the unit completely for 5 hours prior to first use. NOTE: The charge light will turn RED during charging and turn OFF once it is fully charged. The adaptor may become warm during charging-this is normal.*** The device does not have sufficient suction. In order to empty the dirt container, first power off the unit. Then push the release button holding the hand vacuum vertically to release the dirt cup. Next, grasp filter tabs and pull vertically to remove filter cup. Now empty dirt waste. Place filter back into the dirt cup and attach dirt cup to the hand vacuum. You'll know it is secured when it snaps into place. NOTE: The dirt cup should be emptied before debris reaches the FULL line on the cup. Position container correctly and snap firmly into place. Turn the power OFF. Remove the filter as directed in removing filter guide. Tap the filter firmly against the inside of a waste container to remove any visible dirt. NOTE: After heavy usage, you may clean the filter and filter cup by washing it gently by hand in warm water and mild dish detergent. Remove the filter and reinstall correctly. Make sure all components fit together tight. The vacuum does not charge while connected properly to a wall outlet. Set the hand vacuum in the OFF position to allow the batteries to charge fully. Use only the charger that came with the device to charge the batteries. The vacuum does not run as long as it used to.
