2022 kia seltos front license plate bracket

Any suggestions for how to mount a front license plate? I have a 2021 Sx Prestige FWD. Doesn't appear to come with any mounting bracket. My state requires a front plate, and we don't want to just start drilling... Been looking online for a holder, but can't see anything compatible. We purchased the car out of state, so we can ask a local dealership, but not sure how inclined they'll be to help.

Check in the rear, under the floor where the jack is. Might be in there

You should go to the dealership, even if it wasn't the one you got it at. I doubt they will give you any problems for that. For the most part any sales associate can help you, doesn't need to be anyone in particular.

Just call the dealer you bought from and have them order the part and ship them out to you. It should be free of charge. Mine is coming in soon, will let you know the install process if you want.

Oh, we got a blue one. Couldn't get a blue SX Prestige in my state.

Yeah I wanted a blue one as well, but ended up getting a white one which contrasts the glossy black great. Also came with tan interior vs black which are harder to come by.

No idea about the part number but I do know there are atleast two different kinds of brackets according to the parts guy depending on trim. I will be getting it tomorrow I believe so I can post the part number later.

Great news Robin.

Just an update, got the bracket and screws in with three screws included. Lined up easily with dimples in the front bumper.

After installing I decided to take off the dealer cover in the rear, and noticed that there isn't a rear bracket. My rear plate are just screwed in up against car. Is that normal? If not I will call dealer to send me a rear bracket.

Same here in Aus with the rear plate, no bracket, just screws straight on to vehicle. I've attached some thin foam to the back of my plate so it doesn't scratch the paint.

I used these silicone license plate frames from Amazon (click photo to enlarge). They worked great, front and rear. $12.99 for two. They have been on for 5 months, no problems.
