AEM 10th Gen 17-18+ Honda Civic Si 1.5L 4Cyl Cold Air Intake

The AEM Cold Air Intake for the 10th gen 2017-2018+ Honda Civic Si w/ the 1.5L Turbo motor, helps utilize the stock location and adds a free flowing mandrel bent pipe and high-flow filter to help add 11HP. The less restrictive intake adds more power by allowing more oxygen rich air into the vehicles motor to allow it to create a more powerful combustion cycle. Built to be an easy bolt-on application that also adds that AEM style of clean air intake with a gunmetal piping. The cold air box which helps isolate the filter from the hot motor so it only is drawing in fresh cold air from the front of the car is a welcomed design that helps the car draw in clean air without being placed in a wheel well. This also keeps the vehicle from easily injesting puddle water, for a much worry less application for power.

None- Si fit amazingly

For anyone wondering if this will fit a none si civic your in luck it fits perfectly buuuuut the intake sensor doesn’t really fit I have one screw on so if a none si owner looking to get this intake keep in mind that you need proper sensor guess it’s a waste a money for me or maybe not lol

Great product

Ordered this Cold Air Intake last Tuesday it arrived within 2 days( live in Alberta Canada). Super easy install and sounds amazing. Paired it with the KTuner V1.2. Woke the car up. Also have the MAPerformance Race Exhaust which is being installed tomorrow which can't wait to do. Went with the MAPerformance CAI over the other brands because to use the PRL Cobra CAI I would have to relocate the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Why Honda has two different locations for American and Canadian Civics makes zero sense. Install took 20 minutes. Highly recommend.

I installed this intake this past weekend and I could not be more satisfied with the results. I had also bought an HKS SSQIV BOV which I am in the process of returning. The sound from this intake renders the BOV pointless (for my use at least). Easy install w/ ramps. As soon as my KTuner 2.0 arrives I’ll be loading the MAP Stage 1+ tune which will only make this intake sing louder I’m sure.

Technical Notes:

There’s a reason our Cobra Cold Air Intake Systems is a constant topic of discussion and so highly regarded. Our CNC machined billet aluminum MAF Housing was designed to provide *factory-spec fuel trims (-4% of factory STFT & LTFT) for optimal drivability and performance. The Cobra CAI utilizes a 4" volume from the air filter into the MAF Housing and is available with two different MAF housing choices; a Street housing and a Race housing. Both housings utilizes the factory MAF sensor, but feature two different diameters and profiles. As mentioned above, the Street housing is designed to provide factory-spec fuel trims WITHOUT any tuning whatsoever. The Race housing allows a 50% larger volume of air in comparison to the Street housing, which is why a tune IS required. This larger volume of airflow reduces pumping loss and creates an unrestricted air path to feed the MAF housing with ambient temperature air.
